• Commissioning Planning: Develop comprehensive QCx Commissioning Plans that align with project design intent, Tier-level certification targets, and client protocols.
• Standards Integration: Establish commissioning procedures and checklists based on ASHRAE Guidelines, Uptime Institute, or BCA standards. • QA/QC Oversight: Implement quality-focused protocols during equipment installation and performance validation, conducting field inspections to verify adherence to codes and specifications. • Documentation Approval: Review and sign off on Installation Verification Checklists (IVCs), Pre-Functional Checklists (PFCs), and Functional Performance Testing (FPT) records. • Design Verification: Collaborate with design teams to identify gaps in system coordination or maintainability and lead technical reviews of shop drawings and control logic diagrams. • Performance Validation: Oversee all testing phases, including equipment start-up, failover tests, redundancy validations, and Integrated System Testing (IST). • Technical Coordination: Liaise with manufacturers, third-party agents, and facility operations teams to manage live testing scenarios and Tier compliance. • Project Closeout: Manage the Commissioning Issues Log (CIL), ensuring the timely resolution of deficiencies and the delivery of updated O&M manuals and as-built drawings. • Training & Handover: Support the development of training plans for client facility teams and ensure a clean handover of fully validated systems. • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict HSE protocols during commissioning, specifically regarding Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and electrical energisation safety. |
