1. Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV) and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, private cloud), supporting ongoing cloud migration initiatives.
2. Oversee network systems: WAN leased lines, VLAN, WLAN (controller-based and virtual), LAN, and L2/L3 switches
(CISCO, HPE, Aruba, TP-LINK, Extreme Network) including firewall system (FortiGate, FortiGate Cloud) for security
and log analysis.
3. Manage Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, Active Directory, File Sharing, SQL Server, ERP systems, NAS, and backup solutions (Veeam, Veritas, BaaS).
4. Performs systems administration functions for computer systems and related computing environments including Physical servers, Cloud servers, storage arrays, virtual hosts/hypervisors, routers, switches, firewalls, WAN, LAN, VLAN, WLAN, VPN, Active Directory, software inventory and software licenses, etc.
5. Monitors for health and performance of IT infrastructure systems and performs preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the health or performance of IT infrastructure systems including creating monthly/quarterly reports to submit to HQ.
6. Ensures data security and availability through proper backup and restore procedures.
7. Analyze and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure system issues reported by each subsidiary IT.
8. Travel to support subsidiaries and attend conferences, and seminars for IT training as necessary.
9. Regular attendance at work and scheduled meetings.
10. Other duties as assigned.

System Improvement / Continuous Improvement and System Governance
• Collaborate with the Head of Team, PDT system colleagues, and key stakeholders to develop and optimise HR systems in line with mid- and long-term strategies.
• Support global HR projects and initiatives to enhance HR system functionality.
• Contribute to UX/UI improvement initiatives and related projects.
• Lead and coach regional and operating company superusers in system usage, development, and improvement.
• Work with PDT colleagues to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
• Support the Learning & Development team by enhancing learning features within the HR system (LMS module and other tools).
• Promote and ensure governance and compliance in HR system usage across all regions and entities.
• Support efforts to harmonise, standardise, and optimise HR processes, policies, and system use.
• Update and create user manuals and work instructions for superusers, managers, and employees.
• Deliver training to regional and local HR and L&D teams on optimal system usage.
• Maintain and prioritise system improvement initiatives via the PDT team’s backlog and monitor progress.
New Systems / Major Projects
• Collaborate with the Head of Team and PDT colleagues to manage and coordinate the global rollout of new HR systems, ensuring alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
Vendor Management
• Work with Professional Services and/or Customer Success Managers (CSMs) of system vendors to identify and resolve issues, and implement system improvements.
• Act as a liaison between the organisation and software vendors for further system or learning platform support.
Case Management
• Handle day-to-day queries and case management related to HR systems.
• Create and track support tickets to ensure timely and accurate resolution of system-related issues.
Release Management / Cloud Releases
• Support the maintenance of HR systems, including monitoring and managing release updates.
Reporting & Data Quality
• Design and update advanced reports as requested by Global HR and regional superusers, ensuring global consistency.
• Use Power BI dashboards to deliver data analysis and insights.
• Lead, coach, and train regional superusers on effective use of reporting tools.

- Respond to inquiries about credit cards (in person/phone), including card loss, transaction issues, overseas cash advances, and insurance.
*Communication with Headquarters in Japan in Japanese is required.*

at the Plaza Lounge (in person/phone).
