- Quality Control & Defect Analysis • Identify root causes of casting defects using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, and FMEA. • Implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. • Perform hardness, microstructure, and chemical composition testing. Process & Material Optimization • Optimize casting and heat treatment conditions to ensure product quality. • Apply knowledge of cast iron, cast steel, and other alloys to daily production. • Evaluate how hardness, microstructure, and chemical makeup affect machinability. Supplier & Team Collaboration • Audit suppliers and offer technical guidance to maintain quality standards. • Work with the machining team to fix issues and smooth out production workflows. Communication & Reporting • Present technical reports and action plans in English to Japanese management. • Align engineering practices with Japanese manufacturing standards.
