• To oversee our infrastructure and network systems while handling daily support tasks.

Infrastructure Management: (40%)
• Monitor system performance, analyse trends, and implement proactive measures to prevent disruptions and downtime to ensure high availability, reliability, and security of network and server systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain the organisation's network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.

Technical Support: (30%)
• Provide daily technical support tasks to internal users and affiliate companies, resolving hardware and software issues, troubleshooting network problems, and assisting with system configurations.
• Respond to help desk tickets and service requests in a timely manner, ensuring that technical issues are resolved efficiently.

Documentation and Training: (10%)
• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, network configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide related training and knowledge sharing sessions to internal staff and end-users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Internal and Cross-Funcitonal Support: (10%)
• Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement IT projects and initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents outside of normal business hours.
• Be a champion on emerging technologies and industry best practices to propose innovative solutions and improvements.

Security and Compliance: (5%)
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organisation's IT systems and data from cybersecurity threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Vendor Management: (5%)
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, overseeing service level agreements, and evaluating vendor performance.
• Coordinate with affiliate companies to ensure alignment with corporate IT policies, standards, and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication to interact with various stakeholders, including management, end-users, and external vendors.
• Flexibility to work overtime, participate in on-call rotations, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Intermediate in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users and conduct user training sessions as project requirements dictate.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, ITIL) are highly desirable.
• Intermediate English is required

Required Professional / Technical Experience:
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in managing enterprise-level infrastructure and network systems.
• Hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and VoIP.
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., MS O365).
• Intermediate Experience in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure, and troubleshooting network issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, vLANs, and routing protocols)
• Configuring and maintaining server hardware and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), managing user accounts and permissions, implementing security measures, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting server-related issues.
• Intermediate Experience in implementing security measures to protect network and infrastructure systems from cybersecurity threats, including conducting regular security audits and assessments.
• Some experience in backup technologies, disaster recovery planning, and testing backup procedures in case of system failures or disasters.
• Experience providing technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, possessing excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Able to coordinate, negotiate service contracts and manage relationships with external vendors for support procurement and ensuring that service level agreements are met.
• Able to conduct training sessions or create documentation to educate users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
