• Participate in the design of automated machinery, install machine programmes, and perform on-site troubleshooting.
• Write and resolve issues within PLC Ladder Diagrams using software such as Mitsubishi, OMRON, and KEYENCE.
• Program and troubleshoot HMI touch panels. Handle programming for robots and Servo Motor systems.
• Compile comprehensive machine user manuals covering both electrical and programming aspects for projects.
• Design, plan, and oversee electrical systems for construction projects (e.g., buildings, factories, infrastructure)
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQ to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Supervise installation of electrical systems on-site (e.g., wiring, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems)
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and project standards
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues
• Control project timeline, quality, and budget related to electrical works
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Prepare progress reports, technical documents, and handover documentation
• PCB & Component-Level Repair: Diagnose and repair electronic control boards (PCBs) by identifying faulty components using electronic measuring instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators) and performing precise soldering and component replacement.
• Industrial Drives & Motor Controls: Troubleshoot, analyze alarms, and implement corrective actions for AC/DC drives, frequency inverters, servo drives, and motor control systems. Manage drive parameters, including backups, restoration, optimization, and commissioning.
• PLC & HMI System Administration: Diagnose faults in PLC-controlled machinery and HMI applications. Handle all software versions, uploading, downloading, upgrading firmware, and creating secure software archives and parameter databases.
• Electrical Troubleshooting & Field Devices: Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot sensors, actuators, relays, power supplies, and control panels.
• Network & Communication Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot industrial communication networks to ensure seamless data flow across manufacturing systems.
• Preventive Maintenance & Documentation: Support comprehensive preventive maintenance activities, maintain detailed repair histories, write technical reports, and document all software or firmware modifications.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with external machine suppliers during equipment commissioning and coordinate with third-party repair vendors when specialized external service is required.
• Continuous Improvement: Support internal modification projects to maximize production equipment availability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Training & Standard Operating Procedures: Train maintenance personnel in basic electronics troubleshooting and support the creation of clear work instructions and technical standards.
