- Job Description
- • Manage regional supplier relationships and performance within assigned mechanical commodity groups (Plastics, Casting, Cable, Sheet Metal, and Machining). • Lead the end-to-end regional sourcing process for assigned commodities from initial RFQ through to contract signature. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support new product introductions, commodity/technology lifecycles, and demand/supply planning. • Identify, develop, and implement strategic cost-saving and process optimization opportunities. • Build and maintain high-level relationships with executive and senior executive teams at key suppliers. • Review technical drawings and engineering specifications to ensure all requirements are effectively communicated and executed by suppliers. • Secure long-term total quality, on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and supply sustainability for direct materials across the entire product lifecycle.
