• Responsible for managing human and physical resources to ensure raw materials to production and the distribution of the finished products to customers. Takes care of logistics form the reception of the raw material to the delivery of the finished product.
• Manage raw material and finished goods inventories, including overall warehouse operations
• Oversee inventory control across all warehouse locations
• Ensure the timely supply of both direct and indirect materials to the production area
• Arrange and manage on-time shipment of goods to ensure customers receive deliveries as scheduled
• Liaise with and negotiate terms with freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks
• Prepare and verify all required shipping and export documentation
• Work closely with the Sales, Accounting, and BOI departments to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure that shift operations comply with all health, safety and company regulations.
• Make certain that all tasks are performed in line with the latest work instructions and established procedures.
• Take overall responsibility for manufacturing activities by applying appropriate processes and methods.
• Promote a strong focus on output, efficiency and on-time delivery according to the production plan.
• Ensure the effective use of materials, machinery and manpower to meet departmental goals and operational requirements in terms of cost, quality and quantity.
• Contribute to ongoing Continuous Improvement initiatives across all areas to achieve optimal results.
• Recruit and train staff, conduct regular performance evaluations, and manage attendance, holidays and disciplinary matters as required.
• Provide clear leadership, coordinate team activities, inspire and motivate staff to achieve high standards, and mentor them as they build new skills.
• Monitor material stock levels, maintain excellent storage conditions, and manage inventory by performing physical counts and reconciling with the ERP system.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with all departments to ensure optimal performance.
• Support project management activities to introduce new or updated designs and develop efficient processes that ensure the product can be manufactured effectively.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to your superior regarding organisation, troubleshooting and any potential critical issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-kept Plastics Technology department.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.
• Prepare and issue payment vouchers and journal vouchers, and process related transactions in the LN accounting system.
• Compile and verify payment documents with all required supporting evidence.
• Record month-end accruals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage petty cash, including control, replenishment, and preparation of cash planning and waste reports.
• Input and maintain foreign currency exchange rates in the LN system.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and prepare Withholding Tax reports (PND 3 and PND 53) as well as VAT reports.
• Prepare and submit reports for the Department of Industrial Works and FTA reports as required.
• Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Report to the Deputy of the Facilities & Maintenance Department and oversee all plant facilities and maintenance systems.
• Manage and maintain key utility and distribution systems, including:
- Electric distribution and emergency backup systems
- PV (solar) system
- Thermal hot oil system
- Steam boiler, chiller system, and compressed air system
- Water and wastewater treatment systems
- Fire alarm system, annunciator and master/slave clock system
- Building Automation System (BAS)
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of production machinery (P1, P2, P3 processes), including warping, weaving, batching, sewing, washing, cutting, stamping, and final inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct and provide on-the-job training for maintenance staff and other team members.
• Manage projects related to facilities and maintenance, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Supervise and evaluate outsourced contractors for facilities and maintenance works to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain readiness of control systems, energy resources, and high-risk spare parts related to maintenance operations.
• Monitor and support all aspects of electrical, electronic, automation, instrumentation, civil, and mechanical systems within the plant
• Source and evaluate new suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
• Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Negotiate purchasing terms, including pricing, payment conditions, and warranty agreements.
• Coordinate with internal requesters to confirm complete and accurate purchasing documentation.
• Manage purchasing processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and services that meet quality and cost requirements.
• Monitor and control supplier delivery schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to support after-sales service and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain records of supplier assessments and purchasing activities in accordance with company policies and ISO standards.
• Act as the main contact point between the Process Engineering Department (P1/P2) of the parent company and other production facilities.
• Define, develop, and optimise processes for fabric production and testing to meet quality, cost, and environmental standards.
• Select suitable raw materials and auxiliaries in collaboration with suppliers and production teams.
• Support production activities when required, including waste reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Assist suppliers (e.g. yarn, chemicals, contract manufacturers, software providers) as needed.
• Support the Quality Team (QT) in resolving quality issues, preparing deviation reports, and managing complaints.
• Participate in or lead projects such as product development, article and machine transfers, and process improvement.
• Ensure proper communication and information flow among clients, supervisors, and internal departments.
• Prepare and maintain complete process and product specifications, along with all required documentation.
• Ensure documentation is regularly updated in accordance with ISO standards.
• Contribute to plant expansion and new production initiatives through technical know-how and process expertise.
• Plan, execute, evaluate, and document production trials while ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain alignment with the parent company and other production sites.
• Oversee and manage HR-related tasks including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Administer HR Development (HRD) activities, ensuring that training programs and career development initiatives are aligned with company goals.
• Handle HR administration duties, including compliance with labour laws, social security, and personal income tax regulations.
• Efficiently manage the E-service system for social security and the Workforce Development Center system.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR documents and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and employee satisfaction.
